Patrick James Laughlin

Patrick James Laughlin, 67 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio with his loving wife by his side. He was born on December 27, 1948 in Toledo to Joseph and Dorothy (Booth) Laughlin and on September 10, 1976 Patrick married Marilyn A. LaScola in Toledo. Patrick was a 1967 graduate of Whitmer High School. Following high school, Patrick proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He furthered his education at the University of Toledo, where he studied electronic engineering and graduated with a bachelors degree in 1976. Patrick was employed for many years as a quality engineer for Hammill Manufacturing. He retired in 2010 but kept busy and returned part time. Patrick enjoyed spending time on his computer and loved old time TV programs. He loved to laugh, smile and he will be greatly missed. Patrick is survived by his wife, Marilyn A. Laughlin; daughter, Joy M. (John) Fausey; grandchildren, Lydia Laughlin, Tabitha Fausey and Cole Fausey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy and sister, Sharon. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary St, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Rd, Rossford Ohio 43460 where a funeral mass will be held following the visitation at 10:00 A.M.
