Patrick Thomas Kriner was born August 1, 1952 to Carol and Thomas Kriner. He went to Gesu Middle School and was a very proud graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Toledo in Healthcare Administration. Patrick became the owner/healthcare administrator of Ridgewood Manor in Maumee, Ohio. One of his greatest treasures in life was carrying on the legacy of his father.
Patrick was a member of Highland Meadows Golf Club, former president of the Northwest Ohio Healthcare Association, chairman of the Lucas County Board of Elections, and was very involved with the GOP. He was a longtime member and subdeacon at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church. Photography was Patrick’s passion. He loved capturing nature’s beauty while traveling to Africa, Greenland, St. Martin, Las Vegas and to Vermont to capture the beautiful Fall colors.
Patrick married Elizabeth Ann, the love of his life, on May 25, 2012. They recently began remodeling their dream home on Cub Lake in Hillsdale, MI. They shared so many laughs and built so many memories in a short time.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Chuck; and sister, Jackie. Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Elizabeth; son, Aaron (Nikki) Kriner; stepsons, Randy (Ashley) Martin, Jacob (Malynda) Kasparian, and Lukas (Elyse) Kasparian; grandchildren, Jade, Aiden, Maddex, Logan; sister, Barb Cummins (Dan); brother, Kelly (Michele) Kriner; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Angie and Paul Gillis and family.
Visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2022 at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 4940 Harroun Rd., Sylvania, OH from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Kriner named scholarship which provides scholarships to long term care professionals pursuing advanced degrees. It was Patrick’s wish that his friends and family perform a random act of kindness in his memory for someone who needs it.
