Patrick Eugene Katafias

Patrick E. Katafias, 93, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away October 23, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 16, 1930, to Charlotte (Drzewiecki) and Anthony Katafias. Patrick retired as a custodial supervisor for the Diocese of Toledo. He was married to his sweetheart, Patricia J. (Nowak) for 71 years until her passing on June 18, 2021.

Together with his wife, Patrick loved polka dancing and working on jigsaw puzzles. He enjoyed fishing, smoking a good cigar and cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his children, Michael (Barb) Katafias, Constance Katafias, David Katafias, Mark (Sherri) Katafias, Claudia (Joe) Losek, Christopher Katafias, and Patrick (Brenda) Katafias; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; sister Mary Jo Klocinski. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Christine Katafias; siblings, Ervin Katafias, Elizabeth Katafias, and Sister M. Jane Katafias.

Family and friends will be received at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 24250 N. Dixie Hwy, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM with a funeral mass at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patrick’s name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, Rossford.
