Patrick Anthony Carson

Patrick Anthony Carson, 81, of Rossford, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 15, 2025.

He was born on May 29, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, to Clarence and Helen (Murphy) Carson. Pat married Christina Felix on March 20, 1965, and together they shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Over the course of his career, Pat worked at Devilbiss Corporation and Owens-Illinois, eventually retiring from Lucas County as a facilities engineer.

A man of many talents and interests, Pat earned his pilot's license and found great joy in flying. He was a past president of the Portage Valley Flying Club and a proud member of the Rockwell Springs Trout Club. Pat had a lifelong curiosity for how things worked—he loved taking things apart and rebuilding them.

He was also an animal lover, especially fond of his cats, who brought him great comfort and companionship.

Pat is survived by his beloved wife, Christina, and his sister, Beverly Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Andrew Carson.

Per Pat’s request, services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s name can be made to Humane Ohio or to the donor’s choice.
