Patricia Ann Wojcik

Patricia A. Wojcik, age 72, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 14, 1938 in Toledo to Stanley and Sophie Grzybowski Wojcik. Pat was employed by Travelers Insurance Company and most recently with Brooks Insurance Company for nearly 32 years, retiring in 2009. Strong in her Catholic faith, Pat was a former parishioner of St. Hedwig/St. Adalbert Catholic Church, and a current parishioner of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church where she attended bible study classes, sang in the funeral choir and volunteered at the festival. She loved to read and bowl but the greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family and friends. Pat is survived by her uncle, Chester Grzybowski; aunt Edith Grzybowski; first cousins, Barbara Jim Gray Dixon, Helen Paul Raczkowski, Mary Roger Krueger, David Mary Grace Grzybowski, Patrick Vi Grzybowski, Jerry Mary Grzybowski, Rick Jennifer Grzybowski and Mary Ann Michael Rant; as well as numerous second and third cousins. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by grandparents, Kazmierz and Helen Grzybowski; aunts and uncles, William and Louise Grzybowski, Stanley Grzybowski, Al and Stella Grzybowski and Eleanor Grzybowski; cousins, Ruth Allen, Kathleen Albright, Josephine Light and Joseph Grzybowski. Pats family would like to thank her wonderful family at Brooks Insurance, the nurses, doctors and social workers at the MICU at the University of Toledo Medical Center and the caring staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 3-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 am.
