Patricia A. Teufel

Patricia Ann Teufel, 81, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed into her new life Friday, March 26, 2021. She was 81 years young and lived a full life. Patty was born on March 30, 1939 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Peter Anthony and Sara Elizabeth (Fehrenbach) Teufel. Patty was a substitute teacher for Akron Public Schools for many years. She was a member of Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in Kentucky where she taught for 15 years and oversaw the choir. She was a member of the Toledo Metropolitan Ladies Club. Patty married the love of her life, Ross Chalfant Shriver, Jr. on September 24, 1977 in Akron, Ohio. They enjoyed 40 years of a loving marriage until his passing on May 13, 2016. Now they can rejoin in their new life that will be filled with awe and happiness. Patty is survived by her brother, Roger Sharp of Columbus, OH; sister, Sharon Malecky of Rittman, OH; stepdaughter, Julie (Kevin) Denholm of Wheeling, WV; stepson, David Shriver of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren, Wesley, and Katlin; and five nieces and nephews, Charley, Bill, Kimmy, Debbie and Shelly. Along with her husband, Ross, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carole Priest Almashy. A Celebration of Patty’s Life will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133).
