Patricia E. Taylor

Patricia “Pat” E. Taylor, 72, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017. Patricia was born on June 1, 1944 in Lawrenceburg, TN to Marcus and Lonnie Kobeck. Pat lived a full and happy life surrounded by her family. She was a 1962 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School. She was very proud of owning her own cleaning business, selling Mary Kay cosmetics and she worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in housekeeping for many years. Pat was known by many to be the best seamstress and even made her daughter’s wedding dress. Ever the adventurer, in 2005, Pat decided to get her motorcycling license and enjoyed vacationing and of course motorcycles! She was a former member of Old Fashion Missionary Baptist Church and a current member of Victory Baptist. Patricia is survived by her children, Rodney (Sabrina) Vaughn and Michelle (Terry) Hiltman; stepchildren, Gregory Taylor and Christine (Dr. Mike Basista) Taylor; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; siblings, Lane (Diane) Kobeck, Betty Daley, Almedia Murrell, and Marlene Davis; sister-in-law, travel buddy and dear friend Betty Kobeck; along with many other dear in - laws. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Lonnie Kobeck; siblings, Delbert Kobeck, Helen Sisson – Lantz, Francis Robinson, Charlie Kobeck, Brenda Kobeck, Mart E. Kobeck, and Margie Littrell. Patricia was a loving and wonderful sister, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8 at 10:30 A.M. at Victory Baptist Church, 10625 Reed Road, Monclova, OH 43542. with burial to follow at Swanton Cemetery.
