In Loving Memory of Patricia Rosemary Doyle Spychala

Patricia (Pat) was born May 31,1935 to Franklin and Mary Doyle. She was called home to heaven January 21,2026. She passed at home peacefully surrounded by her family. Patricia graduated from Maumee High School and then earned a degree in Business Technology from the University of Toledo. Patricia held numerous jobs including working at the laundromat and JC Penney's while raising her children and later helping with the grandchildren. Patricia married James Spychala in 1954. They spent 57 years together before James passed in 2011. Patricia and James had 5 children together and were blessed with grandkids and great grandkids. Children: Mary Koder (deceased), Patricia Spychala (Brandon, Florida), Edward Spychala (Waterville, Ohio), Raymond Spychala (Patty) (Fenton, Michigan), James Spychala, Jr. (Donna) (Toledo, Ohio). Grandchildren: Elizabeth (Rick) Printz, Amanda Koder, Raychel Spychala, Erin Spychala, Jimmy (Marisa) Spychala, Amber DeLuna. Great grandchildren: Isis Pacelli, Myra Pacelli, Isabella Papelian. Patricia was a loving mother and grandmother always ready to help the family. Her door was always open, and she loved having company.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband James, eldest daughter Mary, her brother James Doyle, sister Jaunita Doyle Skoczen, along with numerous other family and loved ones.

For those who would like to join Patricia's family in remembering her life, visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the rosary at 7:00 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, OH 43537. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026  at 10:30 am at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway St, Maumee OH, 43537. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
