Patricia Ann Simmons

Patricia Ann Simmons, died on April 5, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Pat was born on April 12, 1936, To Helen (Schramm) Artz and Edwin Artz. Pat was a lifelong resident of Wood County and was the second born daughter of their five children. She was a 1954 graduate of Perrysburg High School and Homecoming Queen. She attended The Ohio State University and Eastern Airline School. She was a legal secretary and court administrator in the Common Please Court in Bowling Green.

Pat married Donald D. Simmons at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg. She was a former member of the Country Garden Club, Belmont Country Club, and Carranor Club.

Pat is survived by her husband, Donald, sisters: Nancy J. Bell, Sally J. Spitler, Candyce Sturtz, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, sister, Barbara J. Hartman and brother-in-law, Edgar Ball.

There will be no visitation and there will be a private burial service at Fort Meigs Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
