Patricia Ann Schneider

Patricia Ann Schneider, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at her home in Sylvania. She was born on October 5, 1944 in Galveston, Texas to Arthur and Marie McCue Smith. She graduated from McAuley High School, attended Lourdes College and was an alumni of Mary Manse College. She was a teacher for Our Lady of Perpetual Help for 30 years retiring in 2005. She was very active in the DARE program for the school. Pat also was involved with the program Keep Lucas County Beautiful which she liked to include in her lesson plans. She truly loved teaching. Pat was a member of BPW Business Professional Women. She recently was involved with working for the Diocese, rewriting the curriculum for the Achievement Test. Pat loved playing cards and bingo with friends and was an avid fan for the Mudhens and the Green Bay Packers. She was an active member of the OLPH Church. But her greatest love was for her grandchildren and the children she taught. Pat is survived by her son, Jason Tania Schneider; father, Arthur Smith; grandchildren, Deven, Amelia and Caitlin; brothers-in-law, Leonard Nancy Schneider and Don Rothenbuhler; nephews, Ronald Therese Schneider, Andy Schneider, Buzz Becky Rothenbuhler; great-nephews, Jeff and Brent Rothenbuhler; great-nieces, Melinda and Lauren Schneider and special Mudhen Friend, Marianna. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Schneider; mother, Marie; sisters-in-law, Ruthen and Jean and nephew, John Charles. Visitation will be at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service which will be at 12 noon with the Rev.
