Patricia Ann Runyon

Patricia "Patsy" Runyon, 87, of Port Clinton, Ohio was born in Lucasville, Ohio and passed into the arms of her loving savior on April 17, 2026 surrounded by her family. A faithful member of The Church of God, Patsy was a called teacher who spent countless hours ensuring she was prepared. Patsy was a pioneer in home prayer meetings and home visitation heading countless people to Christ and His Church.

In her final months priro to her passing, she spent her energy witnessing to every doctor, nurse, aide, or visitor, that everybody needs a little Jesus.

Patsy is survived by her daughters, Sherry Nolen-Ashton (John) and Tamara McMurray (Philip); son, John Runyon (Annette); as well as many nieces, nephews, and precious friends. The joy of her life were those that called her "mamaw"- 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by parents, Frank & Selma Walters; siblings, Virginia Anderson and Larry Walters; husband, Bill Runyon; and two sons, William Runyon and Ben Runyon; niece, Paula Gibson and nephew, Monty Anderson.

Visitation will be held at the Sandusky Church of God, 1018 W. Bogart Road, Sandusky, Ohio on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 10 am until A Celebration of Life Service at Noon with Bishop Nathan Hale presiding. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Port Clinton.
