Patricia A. Reiber

Patricia Anne Reiber, 75, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born December 24, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to Ferdinand and Evelyn (Playne) Giese. She married Donald Reiber on March 16, 1969 and they shared 46 wonderful years together.

Patricia spent a majority of her life as a proud homemaker caring for her husband and son. Patricia’s work revolved her son, Christopher. In her spare time, she was a longtime member of Memorial Lutheran Church and loved the arts. She was a talented artist, loved making crafts and would volunteer. She shared many friendships, some life long, which she held close to her heart. She will be missed for her feisty, strong-willed, no-nonsense, New York attitude, sense of humor, and caring, kind heart.

She is survived by her son, Christopher and brother, Ray (Rosanne) Giese. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald who passed away on September 20, 2015.Services for Patricia will be private.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo (419-841-2422). The family would like to thank Patricia’s caregivers, Natasha Love and Nicole Gribble for their unconditional love and support. In lieu of flowers being sent to the family, they ask that donations be made to Memorial Lutheran Church, 3215 Douglas Road, Toledo, in her memory.
