Patricia L. Owens, 71, of Perrysburg, OH died, Thursday, June 14, 2012, at The Toledo Hospital. She was born in Waterville, OH on November 13, 1940 to Robert C. and Grace M. (Whitmore) Orwig and was married in Toledo on March 23, 1960 to Richard E. Owens, Sr.. Pat was employed as a machine operator first at the Heinz plant in Bowling Green, OH and later at the Lear Corp. also in Bowling Green where she retired. She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Teresa M. (Elias) Reyes of Bowling Green, OH; son, Richard E. (Gloria) Owens, Jr. of Perrysburg; grandchildren, Samuel, Antonio, and Anastasia “Stacy” Castro, Damien Owens, Angel Ybarra, Noel Ybarra; great-grandchildren, Antonio Jr. “Nikko”, Samuel “Sammy” Costilla Jr., Thalia Castro, Angelo Ybarra, Nadia Costilla and Tressa Castro; sister, Lee Merritt (Craig Barr); brothers, Gerald of FL, Frank Orwig of FL and Richard Compton of AZ. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Chilcoat and brothers, Ronald and Jack Orwig. Friends will be received from 5-9 P.M. on Sunday and 4-8 P.M. on Monday in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, with burial in New Belleville Ridge Cemetery.
