Patricia Louise Orosz

Patricia Louise Orosz, age 82, of Toledo, died February 20, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born August 27, 1934 in Toledo to the late Forrest and Frances (Baker) Smith. A graduate of Scott High School, Patricia was employed as a house keeping manager with the University of Toledo for more than 20 years. She served in leadership with the O.C.S.E.A. Patricia enjoyed playing BINGO, wine-making and doing word search and seek-a-word puzzles. She enjoyed life and will be lovingly remembered for her upbeat personality and giving nature. Patricia was always there for her family and she will be deeply missed. Surviving are her children, Lyndell Gowing, Duane (Jackie) Lanham, Ronald (Jan) Lanham and Steven (Grace) Lanham; step son, Michael (Julie) Orosz; grandchildren, Gerry, Jennifer, Audra, Kristen, Thomas, Erin, Matthew and Tyler; step grandchildren, Jessica and Michael; twelve great grandchildren; eight step great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Orosz; grandson, Derrick Lanham; brother, William Smith; and sister, Doris Moore. Visitation will be held in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of memorial services at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, who the family would like to thank for their compassionate care.
