Patricia Barrett Noderer

Patricia Barrett Noderer, 63, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away Saturday night, October 29, 2011, at the Stein Hospice Care Center. Trish was born January 6, 1948, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of James and Anna Lynch Barrett. On January 12, 1974, in Youngstown, she married Eric Rick Noderer and he survives. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Mt. Mercy Carlow College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Trish was a Registered Nurse and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at University Hospitals in Cleveland. While there, she managed the Pediatric Family Clinic and was honored for nurturing more than 1, 000 medical students through their first clinical experience. Most recently she was self-employed as a Certified Case Manager. Trish was a Past President of the Port Clinton Area Chapter of National Organization for Women and was a charter board member of Ruth Anns House, Port Clintons shelter for abused women and their children. Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Rick Noderer; nephews, Tim Jennifer Baker of Medina, Ohio, and Rhyan Jones of New Bern, North Carolina; grandnephew and grandniece, Connor and Erin Baker; and dear friend and family member Karen Lazarus of Youngstown. Trish was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Maryann Baker and Gretta Jones. At Trishs request Private Family Services will be conducted. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery.
