Patricia Ann Nero

Patricia Ann Nero, age 91, of Rossford, passed away March 4, 2025, at StoryPoint in Waterville. She was born May 2, 1933, in Toledo to the late Edward and Verna (Vasko) Danko.

Patricia married Paul D. Nero on July 9, 1955, and he preceded her in death in 2019. She was a devoted homemaker and wife, proud of her beloved children and grandchildren. Patricia was an amazing cook and baker; especially known for her apple pies and Hungarian cookies that she loved to share with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo and spending winters in Sun City West, Arizona with her husband. Patricia was a long-time member of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Parish (St. Stephen’s) and will be lovingly remembered for her kind and selfless nature.

Surviving are her daughters, Karen (Darryl) Haymier and Elaine (Allen) Bishop; grandchildren, Brad (Whitney) Frazier, Ryan (Angie) Frazier, Drew (Megan) Haymier, Dr. Allie (Dr. Killian) Llewellyn, and Austin (Erica) Bishop; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Everett, Aubrey, and Ada; and brother, Emery (Marge) Danko. Patricia was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Danko.

Funeral services were held privately for her family, and she was laid to rest at North Oregon Cemetery with her husband, Paul.
