Patricia L. Mochon

Patricia Louise Baars was born September 1, 1944, in St. Vincent's Hospital to Edward and (Laura Animay Norden) Ann Baars.

Patti attended Toledo schools and graduated from Libbey High School in 1962. She then attended American Floral Art School in Chicago. When she was in high school, she worked for a florist at South and Broadway and at Neal's Drug Store in the neighborhood. She worked at Glendale Flower Shop upon her return from Chicago for several years. When she discovered that the Flower Shop on Louisiana Ave. in Perrysburg was for sale, she purchased it with assistance from family. She provided services for thirty-nine years, when she sold her business and retired.

Patti met Steve Mochon when he delivered flowers to the flowers shop. They were married November 5, 1976. Patti loved fishing and just being on the lake. She was bored being retired and worked part-time at Costco and Meijer. She enjoyed being in her yard puttering. Patti was an amazing woman! With a host of friends.

Patti was predeceased by her parents, brother Hayes, and stillborn sister Lori. She is survived by her husband Steve, sister Suzanne (Mike, deceased) Foos, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Her special friends were Carol Stephens, Jan Hummel, Mike Schanda, Beth Putman and Ruth Hazel.

Visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 9-10am at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home at 830 Lime City Rd, in Rossford with funeral service following at 10am. Burial is at Ft. Meigs Cemetery.
