Patricia A. Miller

Patricia A. Miller, 87, of Swanton, died Saturday morning, November 16, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born April 14, 1926 in Toledo to the late Arlie and Hazel Taylor Nye. Patricia married James G. Miller in 1945 and he preceded her in death. A daughter, Rebecca Ellis, and grandsons, Nick Thanasiu and Gregory Reese also preceded her in death. Patricia was a homemaker, loving, caring mother and enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She was a member of the St. Francis Guild. Surviving are her children, Diana Richard Pinkleman, Michael Sue and Daniel Cindy Miller, Christina Mick Reese and Bernadette Gombash; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, John Nye; and sisters, Arlene Tanasichuk and Elinor Hazelwood. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd., concluded with funeral services at 7:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Natures Nursery.
