Patricia F. Kirby

Patricia F. Kirby, 65, of Perrysburg, Ohio and formerly of Evansville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was born in Evansville, the daughter of Belva E. and Agnes L. (Tepe) Kolle, on October 6, 1959. Patricia attended Dexter Elementary, Harrison High School and Central High School, from which she graduated in 1977. She was a member of and baptized at Bethany Christian Church, in Evansville. Patricia married James Kirby in Athens, Texas in 1984 and celebrated 27 years together until his death in 2011.

Patricia had worked for AAA Standard Services for 18 years and also volunteered at the Reynolds School Library. Her favorite job was as a stay-at-home mom and her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren who loved her dearly. They loved their trips to the park and the Hershey bars that were always ready for them when they went to her house. Patricia loved to craft, always looking to repurpose something old into something new. She loved to create new beauty out of anything she could put her hands on, especially something she found at a thrift store, including furniture. Patricia was always on the go and her grandchildren enjoyed the adventures they took with her. Patricia also loved being outdoors, taking advantage of the beauty around her.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Shana (Zach Bollin) Kirby, sons, Tristan (Erin) Kirby, Rick (Deanna) Riggin, Jason Riggin, stepdaughters, Derrinda (Zach) Williams, Delana Glenn, Darise Guynn, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister, Ginger Granado, two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Belva & Agnes, husband, James, a son, and her stepfather, George Rosenkranz.

There are no services scheduled at this time and the family is being assisted by the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, Rossford, Ohio. The family has suggested memorial contributions be directed to the Humane Society of Wood County, 801 Van Camp Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
