Patricia Dickey, a lifelong Toledoan known for her selfless nature and unwavering dedication to her family, passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 80.
A 1964 graduate of Whitmer High School, Patricia was proud of her time as Head Majorette at the school. Following graduation, she worked as a bank teller and a hairdresser before finding her long-term professional home as deputy registrar at the Perrysburg License Bureau. She served as deputy registrar with a high level of dedication until her retirement in 2020.
In 1988, she married James Dickey, whom she met at the Trilby Exchange Club. Together, they shared a life centered on family. For 38 years, their "home away from home" was Sunny's Campground. Patricia loved to dance and never missed an opportunity for line dancing at the campground.
Above all, Patricia was a woman defined by her love for others. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she remained a constant, loving presence in their lives.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, F. Daniel Biker; mother, Adeline Biker; and sister, Judith Vischer (Jim). She is survived by her husband, James Dickey; daughter, Kari Vaculik with her children, Joshua and Ashlyn; stepchildren, Janelle Marzullo (Shane) with her children, Savanna and Sydnie, and James Dickey II with his children, Hailey and James Dickey III; and three great-grandchildren with a fourth on the way.
