Patricia Ann Hastings

Patricia “Pat" (Nagle) Hastings, 91, of Moncks Corner, SC and long-time resident of Maumee, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, in-home Hospice in Moncks Corner. Pat was born September 30, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to Richard James Nagle and Genevieve (Cruse) Nagle. Pat was long time employee for Union School, Miami Children’s Home Special Needs nursing, and St. Luke’s Hospital. She enjoyed playing the organ, ballroom dancing, listening to country music, and doing word search. Pat was a member of the Maumee American Legion Post 320 Women’s Auxiliary, Maumee Eagles Women’s Auxiliary and 40 & 8 Women’s Auxiliary. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great-grandmother. Pat will be sadly missed by all who knew her, her smile, and kindness.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her siblings, twin sister Sue (Nagle) Silka, sister Genevieve (Nagle) Zalecki; Pat is also preceded in death by her loving husband, of 69 years, Robert R. Hastings (Wayne, OH) whom she married July 24, 1954, daughter Mary Pat Hastings, son-in-law, and great-grandchild. Pat is survived by her siblings Sister Mary Ellen Nagle and Richard Nagle. Pat is also survived by her; sons, Robert (Kelly) Hastings of Temperance, MI and his children, Nick (Chris) Hastings, Ryan (Jenny) Hastings and 2 great-grandchildren; Douglas (Kathy) Hastings of Toledo and his children, Derek (Amy) Hastings and Justin Hastings; and Greg (Kim) Hastings of Moncks Corner, SC and their children, Tyler (Brittany) Hastings and Dylan (Sam) Hastings and 4 great grandchildren; daughter, Pamela Myers of Summerville, SC and her children, Donald Myers, John (Sondra) Myers and Heather (Kevin) Myers; and 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 4-7 pm in the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH, followed by an American Legion Post #320 service at 7 pm. Her funeral Mass will be held the next day on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 W Broadway St., Maumee. Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
