Patricia G. Yackee Harbal

Our mom, Patricia G. Harbal, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2018. She was the daughter of LeRoy and Maude (Hill) Yackee and was born December 6, 1925, in Genoa, the youngest of eight children. Mom was a graduate of Genoa Area High School. On June 21, 1947, she married John F. Harbal, and they made their home in Genoa, Ohio, raising three children, John (Kaye) Harbal, Tim (Debi) Harbal and Jill (Larry) Johnson. Pat was a life-long resident of Genoa. Mom loved people and being involved in her community. She was employed 27 years as tax commissioner of Genoa, was a member of the Eastern Stars Gertrude Chapter 219 since 1946, Firettes, Tresetta Club of Genoa, the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ. Mom enjoyed a busy life but always had time for a cup of coffee and a cookie or two. We love you, Mom, and will always cherish the time we had together. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, and seven siblings. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Audrey Yackee. Visitation for Pat will be held 2-8 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, with a Eastern Stars service at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at St. Johns United Church of Christ with interment to follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
