Patricia Lynn Goodeman, 26, of Westerville, Ohio, died peacefully in her sleep early on Friday, November 25, 2011 of an apparent heart defect. Born December 15, 1984 to Thomas and Cynthia Goodeman. Patricia grew up in Waterville, Ohio. She attended Zion Lutheran Church, was a member of the Anthony Wayne High School class of 2003. She attended The Ohio State University, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Logistics Management. Patricia also competed on the Ohio State womens rowing team where she was known as Patty Cakes, and helped her team win their 2nd ever Big 10 championship in 2006. She worked for Limited Logistics as a warehouse manager and later in global transportation. Patricia recently enrolled in graduate school at Ohio State, planning to graduate in 2012 with a degree in City and Regional Planning. She also completed the 2011 Columbus half-marathon and was an enthusiastic cyclist, riding in Pelotonia 2011. She was most recently employed by The Kroger Company. She is survived by her mother, Cynthia J. Goodeman; father, Thomas Goodeman; brother Anthony Goodeman, his fiancee, Allison Moore; boyfriend Todd Tekulve; grandmother Ruth Metzger; grandfather Robert Metzger; aunt Chris Pat Ryan; uncle Mike Janelle Metzger; cousins Ruth, Debbie, David and Sam. Family and friends may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee, OH 43537 on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
