Patricia (Edler) Gipe, 63, of Port Clinton, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 19, 2014 at Toledo Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born on June 18, 1951 in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Paul and Helen (Warner) Edler. On November 25, 1970, she married Kenneth “Ken” Gipe and he survives. Patricia was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and a member of the Rachel Circle at church. Patricia will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Husband of 44 years: Ken Gipe of Port Clinton; Daughter: Christie (Keith) Kuhlmann; Son: Steven (Sarah) Gipe, both of Columbus; Grandchildren: Brandon Katherine Kuhlmann, Maura Adelyn Gipe; Sisters: Helen (Larry) Gross of Angola, IN, Carol (Jeff) Bobak of Rossford, OH and Terri Edler of Punta Gorda, FL; Brother: Paul (Kris) Edler of Oregon, OH; and many loving nieces nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and son: Kenneth Scott Gipe in 1972. Friends may call from 2-8PM, Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 216 Washington St, Port Clinton. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. James Lehman at 10:00AM, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in St. John Lutheran Church, 207 Adams St., Port Clinton. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Patricia may be given to St. John Lutheran Church.
