Patricia Ann Fuss

Patricia Ann Fuss, age 78, of Toledo, died January 23, 2022, at Flower Hospital with loving family by her side. She was born December 6, 1943, in Toledo to the late Harry and Beatrice (Morden) Strub. Patty loved to be on the go, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family playing cards or games. She was a great mom and friend to her children, creating much laughter with every visit. She was a free spirit who lived by her own set of rules. Patty was a people person and loved by all who knew her. She loved chicken wings with celery and ranch and was an animal lover, rescuing animals of all kinds throughout her life from a very young age. She had a special affection for horses including owning show horses and racehorses in her younger years. Flea Markets were Patty’s “thing”, both attending and as a vendor. Though it seemed that she never turned much of a profit, Patty had tremendous fun and developed countless friendships at flea markets. Her engaging, magnetic personality drew people in and her unique story telling abilities and sense of humor captivated them! She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Patty is lovingly survived by her children, John (Shari) Fuss, Jim (Michael King) Fuss, Michelle (Mark) McDonald, and Melissa (Phil) Abbott; grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan, and Caroline; great granddaughter, Gracie; former husband and lifelong friend, Jerry Fuss; brother, Michael (Carolyn) Strub; sister, Jo Grabowski; and half-sister, Shirley.

Patty was also preceded in death by longtime partner, Frank McGraw, and half sister, Ruth.

Family and friends are invited to visit Patty’s Flea Market at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 2 p.m. until the time of her memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Please join Patty’s family to share her story and celebrate her life.
