Patricia Ann Furr

Patricia Ann Furr, age 72, of Toledo, died August 18, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 3, 1949, in Toledo to the late Arthur H. Davis Sr. and Violet (Flick) Davis. She graduated from Whitney Vocational School in 1967. Patricia was the district manager at Conston, Inc. (16 Plus) for 12 years and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with family. She also loved jazz music and worshipping the Lord. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Victoria Harris (Demetrius), Robert “Scooby” Furr Jr. (Linda), and Joshua Ellis (Kyle); granddaughters, Kayla (Ethan) and Toni Furr; siblings, Denise Baker (Raymond), Lucille Keyes, and Richard Davis (Wanda); sister-in-laws Mary Lou Sharp and Sylvia Taylor; brother-in-laws Larry Furr, Gregory Little (Tina), and Phillip A. Harris Sr., and a host of nieces and nephews including goddaughter, Elaina Johnson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert L. Furr, Sr. in 2020; siblings, Arthur Davis Jr., Roberta Tate, Marjorie Harris, William Davis, John Davis, and great grandson Kingston Allen Walls. The family would like to thank Mrs. Mattie McAlister for being a staple in Patricia’s life serving as a second mother to her and a constant in our lives. We would also like to send special acknowledgements to the Hollowell and Robeson families. The family expresses their deep gratitude to the caregivers at Wolf Creek and the ICU personnel at St. Luke’s Hospital for their care and support. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-7 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where homegoing services will be held at 2:30p.m., Sunday, August 22, 2021. Masks required. Private burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery in Sylvania, OH. The family requests that physical memorials be sent to Walker Funeral Home and donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Foundation.
