Patricia A. Demers

Patricia A. Demers of Ottawa Hills, age 86, passed away Thursday May 15, 2014 at Ebied Hospice. The daughter of Roscoe and Gertrude Roth, she was born Oct. 20, 1927 in Toledo. She was a graduate of Libbey High School and attended the University of Toledo. She married Bruce Demers on Aug. 29, 1947 in Toledo. Patricia was a member of Hampton Park Christian Church and Toledo Hospital Auxiliary and a volunteer at Toledo Hospital. She had a beautiful singing voice and in her younger years she performed on the radio. She is survived by her Husband of 67 years, Bruce; children, Bruce Demers, Jr. of Toledo, Pamela Harlan Niehaus of Charlotte, NC, Susan James Peppers of Toledo, Timothy Sharon Demers of Clearwater, FL; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gene Roth; sister, Virginia Sharpin; and daughter-in-law, Sally Demers. There will be no visitation and burial will be private.
