Patricia A. Campbell

Patricia Anne Campbell (Ames), age 86, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2016 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born May 14, 1929 to John and Carrie Ames in Elmore, Ohio. Patricia was the youngest of ten children - Kenneth, Leonard, Howard, Marion, Helen, Richard, Irene, Robert and Harold. All of her siblings have passed away. Patricias mother went blind when she was in her 50s and Patricia spent a lot of her time taking care of her and the household when she was young. She attended Harris Elmore High School where she was a cheerleader and majorette. She married Edward Johns and had three children; Gregory (Wanda) Johns, Betty (Jim) Lazzaro, and Patrick (Joan Boes) Johns. She has six grandchildren and eight great -grandchildren. She married Robert Campbell in 1974, but after seven short months he passed away. The last 30 years she had a life partner, Lee Hall who passed away in 2011. They were the owners of World Energy Systems and they retired to Florida at Palmetto Palms in Ft. Myers. Patricia and Lee were ballroom dancers. They also loved going to the beach, taking beach walks, and traveling. Patricia lived in Ft. Myers most of the year until 2013 when she moved into Creekside at Wolf Creek on November 10, 2013.
