Patricia M. Benson

Patricia M. Benson, 85, of Marblehead, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, June 03, 2014 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born on September 06, 1928 in South Zanesville, OH, the daughter of Edgar Wayne and Carolyn Wolfe Runyan. On November 14, 1944 in Marion, OH she married Paul A. Benson and he survives. Pat attended the Church of Christ. She was a member of the V.F.W. Stanley Jadwisiak Post #7572 Ladies Auxiliary, Marblehead, OH. Pat will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Husband of 69 years: Paul A. Benson of Marblehead, OH; Children: Pamila Mike Drumm of Sandusky, OH, Phillip Sally Benson of Rocky Mount, NC, Polly Lynn of Sandusky, OH, Paula Frank Hodge of Oviedo, FL and Penny Joe Czarnecki of Parma, OH; 12 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; Brother: Doward Runyan of Marysville, OH. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Sally Nause. Visitation will be 5-8PM, Thursday, June 05, 2014, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, June 06, 2014, in the funeral home.
