Pasook “Goot” Champada passed away peacefully in his home on January 23, 2022. Born to his parents, Sy and Ae (Budsaba) Champada in Chon Buri, Thailand on February 8, 1982, they traveled to the United States that same year. A graduate of Evergreen High School, he played football there, but had a deep love for all athletics. Also known by friends as “PC”, he especially loved Michigan football and the Buffalo Bills. You could always find him cheering on his favorite team whenever they were playing. He also loved to fish and would often take his sons fishing on his parent’s pond. He was a family man.
Pasook had the best smile, and everyone loved it. It could light up even the darkest room. He was a hard worker and was employed by Johnson Control and then the Adient company, which he worked there for over 17 years. He did various jobs there including making Jeep seats.
Cooking and eating were things that Pasook loved. He loved pizza and Thai food so much and could even roll traditional egg rolls, although they never quite came out as good as his mom’s.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Mad and Mor Budsaba.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Sy and Ae Champada; brothers Simon (Amanda), Pacio (Teresa); sister Tha (Dustin); fiancé, Anita; children Ezekial and Isaac; former spouse, Chanda; and best friend Tank.
Visitation will be held at Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave.) on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 3pm-7pm. A celebration of the life of Pasook will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 10am at the same location. The family requests that you please wear a mask to both visitation and funeral service.
