Pamula Louise Gluth

Pamula (Pam) Louise (Collins) Gluth, of Port Clinton, OH, died suddenly on May 21, 2020 at Magruder Hospital. Pam was born April 25, 1946 to Richard and Mary Collins and was the eldest of 3 siblings. She and ex-husband, John T. Gluth Sr. had 4 children: John Jr., Dale, Jeff and Beth Ann. Pam was dedicated to the nursing profession for many decades. She started her career as an LPN then, after her boys were grown, went back to school to obtain her RN degree from Owen’s Technical College. She worked briefly as a guidance counselor at Ottawa County Health Services, and spent her entire career surrounded by friends and co-workers at Magruder Hospital who held her in high regard. Pam is survived by her sons John T. Gluth Jr. (Jan) of Port Clinton, OH; Dale R. Gluth (Kevin T. Roe) of , El Cerrito, CA; and son Jeffery A. Gluth (Diane) of Fremont, OH; grandchildren Alyssa, Trey, Mason, Marie and Thomas Gluth; great grandchildren Grayson and Lincoln Gluth; Sister Trudy (Don) Gaydosh of Sandusky, Oh, brother, Michael (Barb) Collins of Marblehead, OH, half-brother, Dave (Jodi) Regal, and several nieces & nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Beth Ann Gluth and parents. Pam loved lilacs, corn on the cob, NASCAR, actor Danny Elfman, and laughter. She was the ultimate fan of her sons, supporting countless activities, hobbies, and athletics, and could always be heard cheering from the sidelines. She is deeply missed. Pam will be cremated, and a celebration of her life will take place when it is safe to congregate. Memorial donations in memory of Pam made be made to the Port Clinton Athletic Boosters or the Magruder Hosptial Foundation. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements and online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
