Pamela R. Verhoff, 72, of Sandusky, OH, passed away, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH.. Pamela was born on July 25, 1942 in Sandusky, OH, the daughter of Kenneth H. and Ruth M. (Lemke) Smith. Pamela was the food service director for Edgewood Nursing Home for 18 years and owned and operated PJ’s Restaurant in Huron, OH with her cousin, Judy Klaholz for 10 years, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed puzzles, cooking and swimming in her earlier years. Pamela was a member of the Amvet’s in Sandusky. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Walter Todd McGreevy and Mark Kevin (Tami) McGreevy; Grandchildren: Sher Green, Holly McGreevy, Nick McGreevy and Kylie Keenan. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, son: James Bryan McGreevy, sister: Linda Shields and half sister: Patsy Iehle. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, March 21, 2015 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Pamela may be given to Stein Hospice, Humane Society of Erie County, Cancer Services of Sandusky and Multiple Sclerosis Society.
