Pam (Plunkett) Smith, 72, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.
She was born on August 18, 1952, to Clifford and Patricia Plunkett, who preceded her in death. She was raised in West Toledo and graduated from Start High School in 1970.
Pam took great joy in raising her two daughters, supporting their endeavors and doting on her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. One could always hear her cheering on the sidelines at sporting events, applauding at school plays and concerts, and proudly celebrating every accomplishment. She avidly followed her children's and grandchildren’s favorite football and soccer teams. She spread her love of birthdays and Christmas by showering her family members with beautifully wrapped and extravagant gifts. She was a stalwart enthusiast of every member of her family.
Pam is survived by her children, Tegan (Dan Rudski) and Quinn (TJ) Pillari; grandchildren, William, John and Harrison Rudski, Lucia, Leo, Joseph and Gemma Pillari; sister Deborah (Michael) Griffith; brother Robert (Annette) Plunkett; and a host of nieces, nephews, as well as grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave.) on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 1 pm – 3 pm with a memorial service beginning at 3 pm. The service will be live streamed. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Catholic High School.
