Cairns Pamela A. Pamela A. Cairns, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died suddenly in her home in Toledo on February 22, 2009. She was born October 6, 1946 to Arthur and Evelyn Koehler in Toledo. She was a 1964 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Pam married Bernard Burdasz in 1966. After his death, she married Craig Cairns in 1986. As Pam would say, her full time job was mother then grandmother. She enjoyed vacationing, gardening, cooking when she had the time, and walking through the Metroparks. But her greatest joy in life was her family, for whom she would do anything. Pam is survived by her husband, Craig; daughters, Brenda Tim Yost and Amy Geiger; and son, Brian. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Trevor, Kayla, Ryan and Laura Yost, Nicholas, Aubrey, Amanda and Amber Geiger. Pam was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may visit with the family at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd. on Wednesday from 3 to 8 pm with Scripture Service at 7 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Thursday at 10 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3011 Carskaddon. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Pius X or the Toledo Area Humane Society. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com Pams quote about herself was She lived, she died. She loved life and her family deeply. Pam, we miss you already.
