Pamela A. Buchholz

Pamela A. “Pam” Buchholz, age 54, of Holland, OH passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her home. Born in Toledo, Ohio on July 5, 1958 to Billie J. and Patricia A. (Lorton) Hodge, Pam and her family moved to Holland shortly after her birth. She was a proud graduate of the Springfield High School Class of 1976. On October 26, 1977 she met, married and forever found her soul mate, Richard A. “Rick” Buchholz who preceded her in death on September 29, 2008. Pam was employed by Springfield Schools for 15 years where she worked in the cafeteria and also as a mail courier within the school district. She loved being the “lunch lady” at Holloway Elementary for 12 of those years. She would often say that it was nice to see all the kids grow up and move on. She also had a career in the Girl Scouts of America, celebrating 20 years of service to the girls in the community as a Troop Leader, Service Unit Director, Camp Director and Recruiter, bust most importantly, Pam loved spending time with her girls and grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Susan M. Buchholz, Sara A. Buchholz and Katie L. Buchholz; grandchildren, Nathaniel, J’Anthony and Richard; brothers, Bill and Toby Hodge as well as several brothers and sisters-in-laws. Pam was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Richard A. “Rick” Buchholz. Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 2-9 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Reynolds Corners Chapel, 5052 Dorr Street in Toledo (419-535-0951) where funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy may do so in Pam’s name to her family.
