Fishing and boating brought Owen to Port Clinton, and he has called this town home for the past 46 years. Owen was active in the local community and served as an officer of the Port Clinton Moose Club. He was also a member of several other local fraternal organizations, including the Port Clinton Elks, Masonic Lodge, and V.F.W.
Owen is survived by his son, Jerry (Jackie) Eshbaugh; granddaughters, Katie (David) Long and Sarah Eshbaugh; great-granddaughter, Adeline Long; nephew David Jones and his partner in life, Joan Wolf and her family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Jones.
