Otto G. Warnke

Otto G. Warnke, 85, of Oak Harbor, died early Monday morning, December 30, 2013, at Fremont Memorial Hospital, Fremont, Ohio. Otto was born January 20, 1928, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Otto and Lena Harding Warnke. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Oak Harbor. Otto is survived by his sister, Viola Smithberger of Oak Harbor, and nieces and nephews. His parents, brothers, Arthur and Raymond Warnke, and sisters, Minnie Sokolowski, and Lois Burke, all preceded him in death. Visitation for Otto will be Friday, January 3, 2014 from 5-8 p.m., in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor with a Parish Wake Service held at 7:30 p.m.. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m, Saturday, January 4, 2014, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 215 Church St., Oak Harbor, with prayers offered at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. The family has suggested memorials for Otto to be directed to St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor.
