Oscar D. Jack Hudson

Oscar D. Jack Hudson, age 87, died June 22, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. He was born January 19, 1931 in Florence, SC to the late Oscar D. and Irene (Swann) Hudson. Jack graduated from Marion College in Marion, IN with a degree in elementary education. He retired from Dana Corporation where he worked in sales and management for more than 41 years. In his free time, Jack enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, reading and spending time with his family at their cottage on Snow Lake in Northeast Indiana. Jack was also member of Westgate Chapel where he was an usher and active in the Keenagers Group. He will be lovingly remembered for his kind and gentle nature. Surviving are his devoted wife of 66 years, Joan J. (Turner) Hudson; children, Shana McKinney (Bruce), Oscar Dennis Hudson III (Sue), Tamara May (Greg) and Scott Hudson (Barbara); eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Bill Hudson and Linda Drawdy. A memorial service to honor Jacks life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford Dr, Toledo, OH 43615. Memorial donations in his name are suggested to Westgate Chapel.
