Oliver Franklin Crawford

Oliver Bud Franklin Crawford, age 88, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Swanton Valley Care Center. Bud was born August 28, 1921 in Toledo, OH to Glenn and Helen Crawford. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII. Bud worked for Owens-Illinois for 37 years retiring as head of cost accounting in the late 1970s. He enjoyed traveling by train, reading, studying architecture and interior design, and gardening. Bud is survived by his niece, Cheryl Oren Deacon of Vero Beach, FL; nephew, Ronald Roseann Taylor of Swanton, OH; great-nieces and nephews, Ronald Taylor Jr., Randy Taylor, Renee Bezeau, Racquel Lorenzen, Wendy Deacon, and Lori Ross; and 9 great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Euvon Taylor and Katherine Ireland. There will be no visitation and services will be private.
