Odra Scott Moore

ODRA MOORE “SCOTT” Scott Moore, age 79, of Toledo passed away on March 27, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Scott was born in Tazewell, Tenn. On February 9, 1936 to William & Gay (Harmon) Moore. He married Carol Rosencrantz in Monroe Co. Michigan on August 8, 1964. A US Army Veteran, Scott was a 1955 graduate of Horace Maynard HS, Maynardsville, Tenn. He was a self-employed Master Plumber where he owned and operated Pro-Tech Plumbing. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving is his loving wife, Carol; children, Karen Moore-Foust; Randy Moore; Gary (Jennifer) Moore; grandchildren, Alan Moore; Lindsey, Nicholas, Melainie & Kristen Foust; Dakota Sherrick; sisters, Vnora (Glen) Sprouse; Nancy (Roger) Freeburg; Linda (Ronald) Irick; Wanda Wright; brothers, Holland C., Eugene & Tim Moore. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph; John; Alan and sister, Ocie. Friends will be received at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 W. Central Ave., Toledo on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 where visitation will take place from 11 am to 12 noon, with funeral services following at 12 noon. Burial will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions in Scott’s name be given to Gentiva Hospice, or the Veterans Association. The family would like to give special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, Hospice of Northwest Ohio and special thanks to Chaplain Chris Roper for their care and compassion shown to Scott during his time of need.
