Odelle M. Bordeaux Winklea, 94, of Oak Harbor, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Riverview Healthcare Campus Cottage Cove, Oak Harbor. She was born on November 17, 1913 in Oak Harbor to Russell and Ida Vining Bordeaux. Odelle worked as a study hall monitor and at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Oak Harbor. She was a long time member of the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Womens Society and sang in the choir. Odelle was a member of the Kumdubble Club and the Key Women at the Friendly Center in Toledo. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Odelle especially loved her family. Survivors include: daughters: Janet Roger Damschroder of Oak Harbor, Kay Jack Quisno of Westerville, OH, and Andrea Donald Lacumsky of Oak Harbor; step-daughters: Lois Don Held of Port Clinton and Patricia Carl Kasper of Colorado; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and adopted daughter: Phyllis Lawrence Coats of Elmore. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Norman Morse, Dale Quisno, and Leroy Winklea; infant child: Norman Morse, Jr.; grandchildren: Monica Ernsberger and Roger William Damschroder, and sisters: Olive Wheeler, Opal Bahs, Odessa Schwartz, Olelia Bordeaux, and Ovivian Miles. Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 2-8 p.m., with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church with Pastor Larry Snyder officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be given to the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church Trustees Window Fund or Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor.
