It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we share the passing of Norman J. Orzehowski, Jr. Norm was born to Norman Sr. and Alice Orzehowski on Valentine’s Day 1972 and was welcomed into his family by his sisters Susan and Jill.
Norm attended Christ the King grade school and St. Francis De Sales High School. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1990 and attended the University of Toledo.
Norm excelled in sports and had an amazing memory. He was kind and generous and had a great sense of humor. He loved his many friends.
Most of all, Norm loved and was so proud of his daughters Rhyan Louise and Reese Marie. He was diagnosed with Type 1, juvenile diabetes at the age of 12, and he struggled with the ups and downs of the disease, but he never let it diminish his spirit. He was blessed to have a kidney transplant in 2014, which extended his life.
Norm was preceded in death by his father, Norm Sr., and his beloved dog, Stoshu.
No words can describe our sadness on the loss of Norm. It was much too soon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623. A prayer service will immediately follow. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Francis De Sales High School Academic Scholarship Support.
