Norma Linda Munguia Wall

Norma Linda Munguia Wall, 72, of Toledo, OH passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, OH. She was born on November 1, 1950 in Edinburg, TX to Jose L. and Olivia (Gomez) Munguia. Norma was a hard worker, working many years packing produce. She was a private person, but very strong minded, independent, and opinionated. Norma was always on the go, always moving, and constantly drinking water. Hence, her family called her the Energizer Bunny and a camel. Norma enjoyed arts & crafts, traveling, going to the casino & beach, and baking for family and friends. She was always there when you needed her. One of her favorite sayings that her family fondly remembers was, “Not my monkeys, not my circus.” She will be greatly missed.

Norma is survived by her son, Adam Wall; daughter, Barb (Oliva) Wall; grandchildren, Adam, Alexis, Tyler, and Connor, Goddaughter, Esmerelda Izquierdo; and siblings, Elma Benavidez, Juan (Carmen) Munguia, Mary (Lupe) Hinojosa, Anita Garcia, Adam (Erica) Munguia, David (Robin) Munguia, and Marcos Munguia. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Robert Munguia, Ray Munguia, and Jose Munguia.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH followed by committal services in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Oregon, OH. The family would welcome flowers for Norma’s services or memorial contributions in her memory may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice, as well.
