Norma Jean Davidson age 79 of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 in her home. Norma was born in Toledo on July 8, 1938 to Norman A. and Vera (Ludeman) Raitz. She grew up in South Toledo and was a Libbey High School graduate. Norma was employed as a realtor at Loss Realty Group and Disalle Real Estate Company. Norma was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Maumee. She enjoyed playing piano, accordion, cello, dancing, I Love Lucy and seeing Elvis in person but her life was her family. Norma loved family vacations to Oscoda, MI; Lake Hope, OH; Buck Creek, OH; Ft. Myers Beach, FL and trips to Frankenmuth, MI making sure she shopped at Bronners. Normas favorite holiday was Christmas and she prepared months in advance. She was known for her famous Potato Salad. Surviving is her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Jan E. Davidson; children, Jeff (Michele) and Randy (Christine) Davidson, Lisa (David) Ness and Shelly (Anthony) Oberneder. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and sisters, Janet Stout and Sue Schoettley. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 4:00 PM until the time of services at 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ability Center of Greater Toledo, 5605 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH 43560 or St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 112 E. Wayne St., Maumee, OH 43537.
