Norma Lee Chambers

Norma L. Chambers, 85, of Elmore, Ohio, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was born January 9, 1933, in Green Springs, Ohio, to Clyde and Irene (Dudrow) Doll. On April 26, 1952, in Genoa, Ohio, she married James W. Chambers and he preceded her in death November 14, 1979. Norma retired from Brush-Wellman, now Materion, in Elmore. Afterwards she worked at Lakewood Green House in Northwood, Ohio. She also volunteered walking dogs at the Ottawa County Humane Society. Norma loved growing flowers and working in her flower gardens around her home. She also enjoyed bird watching and traveling abroad. She is survived by her sons, Terry (Wendy) Chambers of Bowling Green and Jeff (Tricia Adams) Chambers of Elmore as well as her siblings, Paula Roberts of Margate, FL, and Eugene Gene (Janice) Doll of Pemberville. Her parents, husband and brother, Roger Doll, preceded her in death. A private graveside service for Norma will be held at Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery.
