Norine Marie Snyder, 73 of Port Clinton, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her home. She was born May 23, 1939 in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Hartimus R Snyder & Velda May Snyder. She loved to go fishing. She loved playing jokes on grandkids, loved to watch scary movies, and always liked to argue. She worked at American Motors as a sewing machine operator until 1975 when she became disabled. Norine is survived by her aunt Freda Riddle, 98 of Port Clinton, her brother Richard Lottie Snyder of Lindsey, OH. She was the mother of five: Gordon Snyder of Cleveland, TN, Larry Jones of Port Clinton, Carla Harris of Port Clinton, Valerie Jones, deceased, and Tammy Palacio of Toledo. She had 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, brothers: Norman & Frank Snyder, sister: Beverly Snyder, and great grandchildren: Alexander Luis Abrego and Jordan Palacio. Cremation has taken place under the direct care of Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally there is laid up for me the crown which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
