Nora Jaynes

Nora B. Jaynes, 96, of Perrysburg, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Nora was born May 25, 1927 in Reinersville, Ohio to Harry and Edna (Montz) Grandstaff. Nora married Bill Jaynes on May 27, 1948 and shared 48 years together until he passed on January 28, 1997.

Nora was a housekeeper for many years, cleaning many families homes. She enjoyed taking walks and sitting outside on her porch. She loved to crochet, read and go to the casino; but most of all she loved spending time with her family and her dogs.

She is survived by her daughters; Cindy Crawford and Peggy (Lanny) Taylor; grandchildren, Jason (Kristen) Picking, Ryan Crawford, Kaitlyn (Justin) Zarate, Kristen Moore and Tyler Picking; great-grandchildren; Ally, Carter, Ethan, Leah, Gavin and Kennedi, many other nieces and nephews, and her dear niece Susan and Rex Sheets along with beloved dog, Wrigley. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her son, Mike; son-in-law, Mark Crawford; brothers, Eugene and Henry and sister, Clara along with many other brother and sister in laws.

Friends and family will be received Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at Grace Church, 601 E. Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, (419-893-7686). Memorial donations may be made in Nora’s name to Grace Church.
