Noah Davis Jones

August 5, 2003 — July 30, 2025

Noah Davis Jones passed away in a tragic car accident on July 30, 2025, and he donated his organs to bless the lives of others. He was born August 5, 2003. Noah was known for his kindness, quirky humor, detailed accountings of various movie or game franchises, servant leadership, enjoyment of games, generous sharing of his time to help others, and reflection on history and current events.

What started with the Disney Cars tractor tipping game on Playstation 2 later turned into winning 2 state championships on the Perrysburg High School E-sports team, a club that he helped to co-found with fellow classmates.

Noah was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts earning the rank of First Class and went to many scout camps and outings. He was a regular behind the scenes quietly picking up what others had left behind and assisting leaders. He proudly sold enough popcorn in Cub Scouts to earn a TV prize so he could finally play video games in his bedroom.

Soccer was a staple from grade school through high school. He played for Pacesetter Soccer Club and Perrysburg High School. His energy and fearlessness made him one of the most exciting players to watch. His heading abilities in the box to drive in a goal was coined “getting Noah Jonesed” by his coaches and teammates. He was recognized as second team all-league and all-district honorable mention and scored and had a key assist in the senior all-star game.

He graduated magna cum laude and with an honors STEM degree from Perrysburg High School in 2022. Noah studied chemical engineering and business at the University of Toledo and was set to graduate in December 2026. He was part of the Chem-E-Car competition team, and they continued UToledo’s track record of excellence by qualifying for and performing well at nationals each year. Noah spent each of his three years actively recruiting other students to join the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). He worked alongside peers and faculty to deliver professional development, was a wingman for lower division students at the Career Expo, and regularly helped on college tours. You could find Noah at most football and basketball games selling concessions to raise money for AIChE.

A constant for most of his life, were his amazing friends. Building snow forts, camping, surprising each other with big shows of support, riding the coasters at Cedar Point, strategizing on Magic the Gathering and Risk, cheering each other on at their respective activities, watching (and critiquing) movies, sharing their dreams, and so much more. Tommy, Brendan, Josh, Ethan, Brayden, Evan, Keith, Kyle, Andrew, and Eric are all Noah’s brothers. He had other dear friends too.

Noah’s sister, Madeline, was one of his best friends. He doted on her when she was born. He took in dance competitions, choir concerts, and theatre productions and always had a kind word and brotherly critique to share.

He was the man and person his parents were deeply proud of and loved infinitely. He was an absolute joy, caring friend, and gave the best Noah hugs. Faith requires action, and he lived the golden rule.

Noah is survived by his parents Deirdre and Josh Jones, sister Madeline, grandparents Colleen Florkowski, Paula and Jeff Jones, aunts and uncles Olivia and Larry Twigg, Madonna Florkowski, and Leo Florkowski, and his cousin Hunter Twigg. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Leo Florkowski.
