NICOLE “COLA” SHERRICK Nicole Sherrick, age 16, of Holland passed away on April 12, 2012. Nicole was born in Toledo on April 24, 1995 to Victor Sherrick & Cindy Gedert. A Springfield H.S. Junior, Nicole was attending Penta Co. Joint Vocational School’s Dental Assistant Program. She enjoyed playing softball, loved the outdoors especially planting flowers with her Grandfather, and spending time with her little brother, Maxzwell. In her spare time, she loved to paint, go ice fishing with her father and cousins, enjoyed math, going to the beach, the park and was full of fun and laughter. She especially enjoyed being with her mother and her favorite companion, “Mia” and sharing that fun and laughter. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her father, Victor Sherrick & Step-Mother, Aarin; mother, Cindy Gedert; brother, Maxzwell Sherrick; sisters, Destyni & Brie’Ahna Nigh; maternal grandmother, Janice Gedert; paternal grandparents, Barb & Vic Sherrick; aunts, Kelly (Rick) Butler; Kerri Gedert; Angie (Shane) McKenzie; uncle, Gordon Brown and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Carl Gedert. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-9 pm Monday, April 16, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday April 17, 2012 at the Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Rd., Holland with visitation being held from 10 am until time of service at 11 am. Burial to follow at Springfield Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family of Nicole.
