Nellie Lucille Ferrin

Nellie Lucille Ferrin, 94, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at her residence. Nellie was born on July 16, 1917 in Shaw, MS, the daughter of William and Mary Mayo. Nellies first hsusband was Elmer W. Harrison and he passed away in 1974, her second husband was Fred Irick and he passed away in 1979 and her third husband was Herbert Ferrin and he passed away in 1992. She was a past member of the Eastern Star Chapter #267 and the David W. Leonard Aerie #2295 Auxiliary. Nellie loved ceramics and cooking. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Children: Jerry K. Harrison of Woodville, OH; Daughter: Sylvia Kell of Port Clinton, OH and Stacy Chris Harrison of Sandusky, OH; 6 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; 13 Great-Great-Grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, grandson: David Seiser, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation will be from 10AM to 11AM, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00AM. Interment will be in Christy Chapel Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
